Application and License Requirements
School Psychology is regulated by the Department of Health. There is no regulatory body in the way of a Board or Council.
The Office of School Psychology is responsible for licensing and regulating school psychologists who meet statutory requirements for safe practice in Florida. Applicants seeking to be licensed as a School Psychologist in Florida may apply by Examination or Endorsement.Continuing Education: Click here for information regarding continuing education requirements for initial licensure. It is also strongly recommended that you review all of the laws and rules regulating this profession.
Exam: Applicants applying by examination must successfully pass the PRAXIS II School Psychology examination given by Educational Testing Service (ETS).
