IMPORTANT MESSAGE -
The Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, is dedicated to protecting your personal information against fraud and scams. You can help protect your license and personal bank accounts by being cautious in giving out your own personal information such as first name, last name, business name, email address, userid/password, financial information (credit card, bank account number, PIN), social security number, and driver's license number. We will never request personal credit card or bank account information over the telephone. If we require information from you, we will notify you in writing and request that you provide the information by mail or online only after you have safely and securely logged in to your account.

If you believe that someone may be using your account without your permission, please contact us immediately.

Some of the boards, or the department where there is no board, are in the process of updating health history questions on licensure applications for health care professions. Please continue to use the application as it currently appears online until rules are adopted that will allow the department to replace these applications with updated versions.

Licensing Information - The licensing authority was abolished in 1959 and licensees who were licensed at that time were allowed to continue practicing naturopathic medicine. Therefore, no one can now become licensed as a naturopathic physician or practice this profession in Florida, unless they are one of the remaining people who currently hold a license. If someone were holding himself out as one of these licensees, then that person could be prosecuted for unlicensed activity.
